Find Out Why 90% Of Guitar Students Suck At Guitar
Here’s the reason why you might not getting the results you were hoping to get when you started playing guitar. It’s making excuses not to practice. Watch this guy to get my point:
And now to understand how silly your excuses are watch this video of Mark Goffeney. He is lead guitarist and vocalist for the ‘Big Toe’ Despite being born without arms Mark managed to become a great guitar player. The bottom line is if you want something bad enough you can do it. And if its guitar then stop making excuses and do the work that is needed in order to be able to play the way you want.
I am accepting serious guitar students of all ages and abilities and I have lesson plans that will work with any budget. So there is no excuse not to do it. Call me on 07824 366014 to book a lesson free of charge. I am willing to invest my time to help you become a great guitarist with no risk or obligation on your side.
How To Master Guitar – Part Four – MAKE TIME!!!
People love to blame lack of time as a factor that prevents them from mastering guitar. Don’t bullshit! If you love playing guitar and you want to become a great player make time to practice. Don’t blame your work or “other commitments” It’s very convenient to blame others not ourselves for our failure! I recommend that you find in your schedule a time that won’t be interrupted by other activity. Make sure that playing guitar is not the last thing you do in your daily routine.
No more excuses, no more bullshit – make time and become guitarist you always wanted to be
HOW TO MASTER GUITAR – PART THREE
One of the key elements of becoming a great guitar player is to have an effective practice routine- what is that mean? It means that you get the most out of the time you have available to practice. As stated before you need to know your goals upfront. Then you can tailor your practice routine according to your long or short term goals.
Lets say for example you are in a tribute band and you have to learn about 20 songs in a month. You should practice then towards your current goal and work on your repertoire as well as improvisation skills and technique so that you will be able to perform at the certain level. Also because you will be playing live consider practicing standing up as its a bit different from playing in your room…. It will be great to practice with some backing tracks so that you don’t have to rely on your singer or maybe you should practice entire song only with the drum beat. As you can see because this practice routine has some purpose you will have a lot of motivation. You will also practice things that are relevant to your current goals -that makes a huge difference.
In creating your practice routine you must remember few things. How to prioritize your practice items and when its a time to move on. You must keep it fresh and realistic
How To Master Guitar – Part Two
A lot of guitar students feel frustrated about their current skill level. There is so much information on-line to learn , there are some instructional videos out there so things should be nice and easy. But they are not. The truth is that apart from the right information and even putting a lot of time into guitar practice you need to know where you wanna get with your guitar playing.
Knowing where you want to get will allow you or your guitar teacher to help you better by planing your practice routines and cut out all irrelevant stuff that is distracting you from getting there sooner. So the best thing as my guitar teacher said is to start at the end! Who is the guitarist you want to be? When do you reckon you want to become the guitarist you always wanted to be? How much time, money and effort you are willing to invest to get there? How important is to you to become the guitar player you always wanted to be?
Learning guitar is like going to war the biggest enemy is yourself and your weaknesses!!! Manifest your goals write them down and think how great it’s gonna be when you finally reach your full music potential. All the best!!!
HOW TO MASTER ELECTRIC GUITAR???
Mastering guitar does not happen in a traditional linear way. Music is not science it’s an art therefore you can not apply the same strategies you would use to learn maths or chemistry. Watch this awesome video of Tom Hess who explainthe Geometric Approach in learning guitar. I am a student of Tom (MCMP and EGTIC) I also use his practice generator which is a great tool that helps to improve your practice routines.
Play Guitar Like Gary Moore!!!
OK a lot of guys that I teach ask me why they don’t sound like Gary Moore. Here’s why it’s not about playing the notes but how you play them! It’s all about phrasing skills you have to develop. Finding the right notes is not as big challenge but how to phrase it like Gary Moore is another story. I am running in Wimbledon lead guitar courses and one of the key elements of what we cover is playing expressively and melodically like Gary Moore used to do. I can break down for you scales and modes he was using and help you with vibrato and bend techniques as well as whammy bar technique. Get in touch if you are interested.
P.S.
I offer a free trial lesson to all my new students so get in touch now and play the guitar the way you want !!! My number is 07824366014
Thanks

Music Theory Helps Your Guitar Playing
A lot of people out there think that music theory is a set of rules that was designed to restrict you from fully express yourself. The truth is that music theory is a set of observations made by musicians in order to understand music which better help musical expression. I encourage you to read up some music theory as this will greatly enhance your chances to become a better musician.
I have found recently this awesome music theory blog that seems to be quite accurate : http://musictheoryblog.blogspot.com
In my guitar teaching and playing I took one thing as a rule learn how to play music then learn music theory to make your music even better. The more you read about music theory now the easier your life will be in the future. It takes years to understand everything and make all pieces of the puzzle fit together.

Learn how to play like John Sykes from Whitesnake!!!
Would you like to know how to sound like John Sykes? If the answer is yes – you will have to improve your guitar phrasing skills!!! A lot of guitarists falsely believe that it’s enough to play the right notes in the right time. In order to sound as good as your guitar hero you will have to get deeper in to his ways of expression and emphasizing certain emotions. The best way to practice is to try to express yourself using just one note.
I am offering private and group lead guitar classes to teach people like you to become truly expressive players. Watch this video to get some inspiration to practice!
